Francis A. Strazzeri
Francis A. Strazzeri graduated from Hobart College in Geneva, New York in 1981 and New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts in 1985. While attending New England, Mr. Strazzeri acted as a student prosecutor for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, trying misdemeanor DUI cases in Dorchester District Court. After graduation, Mr. Strazzeri returned to Rochester and accepted a position as Assistant District Attorney for Monroe County in 1986.
Following his tenure in the Felony DWI Bureau, Mr. Strazzeri was assigned to the Major Felony Offense Bureau as Senior Assistant District Attorney, where he prosecuted hundreds of violent and repeat felony offenders from 1989 to 2000. In 1994, Mr. Strazzeri successfully conducted Monroe County's first-ever triple jury murder trial. While employed as Monroe County Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Strazzeri served as an adjunct faculty member for Monroe Community College, instructing area police recruits on criminal law. He also acted as legal liaison for the Rochester Police Department.
In 2000, Mr. Strazzeri left the Monroe County District Attorney's Office to found Strazzeri & Costanza, LLP. As managing partner, Mr. Strazzeri represented a wide variety of civil and criminal litigation clients. Since 2003, Mr. Strazzeri has also served as a volunteer mediator for the United States Defense Department.
