DWI Cases Among Women on the Rise

Ed Fiandach ... local DWI attorney says five years ago only ten percent of his clients were women, but that number is rising.
“I would have to say between 35 and 40 percent of the new people that we see are in fact females,” says attorney Ed Fiandach.
He
believes more women are being arrested for drunk driving because
they're becoming more independent. “They're going out with their
friends or other women who go out. They're not necessarily dependent
on male companionship to go out and have a good time anymore,” Fiandach
says.
