Lifetime Revocation Remediation

Pursuant to NYDMV Regulation 15 NYCRR 136.5 any motorist who has five or more alcohol-related operating offenses in his or her lifetime or four or more alcohol-related operating offenses and a "Serious Driving Offense," which includes twenty or more lifetime vehicle and traffic violation points, will be revoked for life. Further, lifetime revocation by the State of New York will be honored by virtually every state.
