Mr. Fiandach’s annually supplemented DWI treatises, including “New York Driving While Intoxicated, 3d” and “Handling Drunk Driving Cases, 2d,” are widely acclaimed as the most authoritative publications of their kind. Additionally, his DWI articles have been published in respected publications such as The Magistrate, The Daily Record, and The New York State Bar Association Criminal Justice Journal.

Making a Difference
Throughout his career, Mr. Fiandach has consistently advocated for justice and exposed incompetence or injustice when encountered. His investigations in 1989 led to the suppression of Breathalyzer® tests in the groundbreaking People v. Uruburu case in Rochester, which subsequently led to suppression of breath tests throughout New York State. In 2001, he was instrumental in exposing the incompetence of a District Attorney which subsequently led to his decision not to seek reelection.

Mr. Fiandach’s dedication to the field extends beyond his practice. He is the former Dean of The National College for DUI Defense, making him one of the top DWI lawyers in the nation. In addition, he has served on the DUI (DWI) Committee of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
His expertise is regularly shared through lectures and presentations. He has published numerous papers on various aspects of DWI defense and has given lectures across North and Central America, helping lawyers nationwide enhance their skills in handling DWI cases.

has dedicated his career to zealous advocacy for his clients. Ralph Alloco began his legal career as a prosecutor at the Monroe County District
Attorney’s office, giving him a unique ability to examine each case from all angles. As an
assistant district attorney, Mr. Alloco was a member of the special victim’s unit, handling some of the toughest cases to come through our criminal justice system. Courtney Spiotta - of counsel
After graduating from the University at Buffalo School of Law, Courtney began her legal career at Nixon Peabody. She then joined the Livingston County District Attorney’s Office, where she handled a variety of criminal matters in both the justice courts as well as county court. Since her departure from the Livingston County District Attorney’s Office, she opened her own law office based in Batavia and practices both criminal defense (misdemeanors and felonies) and family law (custody/visitation, family offenses, and neglect/abuse proceedings). She is also certified as an Attorney for the Child. When not practicing law, Courtney is an adjunct professor at her alma mater, St. John Fisher University and a dedicated Mock Trial coach.
